ISMO is a cultural fusion reflected in the form of fashion.
Bety Zafra started writing the ISMO story when she was still in university. Her passion and curiosity guided her to explore the world of social design. She presented the ISMO project at the School of Visual Arts in New York in an effort to be accepted in an intensive Social Impact Design program. Her project was one of only 15 accepted projects in the program and that's how ISMO was born.
Bety's purpose is to improve the lives of the artisans that create beautiful and traditional art. Her determination in finding a way to make our world better through design is what keeps inspiring and fueling the ISMO story.
